Traditionally, about a third of SMR's annual activity is in the
ATM arena. SMR has experience of commissioning, storing, moving,
installing and de-commissioning ATMs. This expertise was one of
the main drivers behind the acquisition of SMR by Securitas, and
we can now offer a unique cradle to grave service around ATMs, from
taking delivery at our Warwick configuration facility, to hanger-based
testing, set-up or commissioning, site survey, delivery to site,
removal of an old unit and installation and connection of the new,
staff training, delivery and replenishing the cash (including the
use of leading-edge in cassette anti-theft devices), cash forecasting
and management as well as first and second-line maintenance. SMR
is also Europe's largest user of intelligent locking solutions on
ATM safes that enable auditable entry of ATM safes, whether in remote
or branch locations. This has been accomplished by the development
of a unique methodologies for the transmission of combinations and
closure codes that enable the most secure and robust solution with
the optimised level of overhead costs. SMR has experience of ATMs

NCR®, and Diebold® and among others,
