Over the last few years, our key clients have become increasingly
keen to reduce their supplier base, and one way that this has been
achieved is to buy an increasing breadth of services from a reduced
number of niche suppliers. SMR has recognised that by offering
data and power cabling services alongside our existing rollout,
deployment and IMAC skills, we can often reduce the hassle and costs
faced by our clients and the end-user.
Once we had decided that we would offer cabling services, we had
to decide on the best way of doing so in a way that would maintain
the same exacting quality standards employed throughout our business,
yet without being prohibitively expensive. To that end, we have
vetted and approved three Krone® accredited Installation Partners,
with whom we work on a competitive tender basis. When offering cabling
services, SMR adds only a nominal margin, as this is seen
as a complementary service. Therefore, we remain competitive and
offer you the advantage of a single point of management.
